In countries where money is scarce but vegetables are plentiful do you think potatoes should be recognised as a form of currency ?

Can you forsee any problems?

Well, there's that one potato in the bag that goes squishy and smells horrible. Then there are the old potatoes that grow eyes, and the potatoes that look perfectly fine until you cut them in half, only to find that the inside is quite brown. Then there are the potatoes with exterior damage, such as cuts and large dents. I can foresee many squabbles about condition and age...😉

And not all potatoes are the same...therefore they might be of varying worth. There are Idaho potatoes, russet potatoes, white potatoes, and of course, the BIG money..Yukon Gold!!! 🤣🤣🤣
