that has happened before with someone I used to consider a best mate.
I was in a relationship and i had my best mate at the time over and his partner and my girlfriend at the time. I was cooking up a feed for everyone while they were chatting in my loungeroom.
Ohh i should point out that my friend and his partner had just had a baby and it was a night away for them both. Anyway his partner went back to their house after dinner because she wanted to go be at home with their baby.
Later on when i was cleaning the kitchen, my girlfriend came up to me and asked me if i could ask him to leave and if not she would go because she does not feel comfortable around him. Apparently they were sitting on same lounge together and talking and he started touching her feet and when she tried to pull away he grabbed her and started saying to her that he knows she likes him and they can basically be together and hide it from me and his partner.

When i confronted him about it, he admitted it and well i wont write what happened after that but i never seen much of him after that night or his partner, so no doubt he went back to her and told her a bunch of nonsense to protect his own ass but yeah.
I am very careful these days on who i actually consider to be a friend.

As you know, I'm not a violent person, but...

@AbbeyRhode Fair enough ;)

I’ll sit back and watch as he puts her in her place.
No way he’s jumping on that wagon

If I can't trust him, certainly can't call him 'friend.'
And I can't let him go thinking I'm soft. 🤷🏼‍♂️
Nimbus · M
@easterniowegin Good point.
Would never happen. My friends do not do that. No friend of mine ever would.

@PoetryNEmotion Good to hear.

It happened many a time, since I've always had arm-candy.

Jealousy doesn't become me, so I developed a mind-set telling myself, "unfortunately for you, she's going home with me not you". Besides you wouldn't be able to afford her and her lifestyle.

Nimbus · M
@eyeno I'm glad it works for you :)

Honestly, I’d let her handle it. Women are adept at deflecting unwanted attention.

I’d just let him know the next day that he’d had a bit too much to drink.

An ambulance and the police wouldn’t be the smartest option.

@Adogslife Good point.

She took care of it immediately, so I just it go. I knew how much he wanted her and also knew she would never be with him.

@exexec Wise 👍

You don’t need an enemy when you have a friend like that
Nimbus · M
@Sunrises Good point!
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
Get rid of that person I don't need a friend like that
Nimbus · M
@Justmeraeagain That's true but also kind sad at the same time.
sladejr · 56-60, M
Either way I'd dump him. The first part is up in the air
MarineBob · 56-60, M
Probably leave

@MarineBob Sensible 👍
