You’re the adult, you can just take it back, seriously. You can explain that unfortunately, you’re still making payments on that phone and trading was a mistake.
She will still have a phone. But you don’t have to accept "no" on something you’re paying for. If she just likes that phone, perhaps the agreement can be revisited after it’s paid off.
