They’re alive before conception, because sperm and egg cells are alive. The question is when legally protected life begins, which is a public policy question, not a biological one. It’s not like we hesitate to kill full grown ISIS terrorists even though they’re obviously alive.

@Renaci The "He Gets Us" messages are nice, but the group behind it is majorly homophobic.
Technically, from the very start. But I say technically because even a sperm cell is technically alive.
