Wal-Mart self checks were all closed here.

@Nimbus I read that some of them were closing due to the high rate of shop-lifting on them. Customers will use the cheapest priced veggie & fruit codes to pay for the most expensive fruits and veggies for example. Then the price of those items goes up even more after inventory so Walmart doesn’t lose the difference.

@cherokeepatti i agree, and they're not going to loose it.
It wasn't such a bright idea to begin with.

@Virgo79 Walmart’s CEO has made so many stupid decisions. I don’t know if the same one is there as when I was working but they decided to remove the fabric departments, not sell guns, and other popular items. Big mistake, they lost a lot of business. Walmart was the to-go place especially in smaller cities to buy fabrics and sewing supplies. And a lot of people came to buy not only guns, but ammo, hunting and camping supplies. It seemed like the CEO was clueless about what customers wanted. They had to learn the hard way that they needed to put it back and they did, so they spent some more money setting up displays etc. They need to get back in touch with their customer base and listen to what they want and will buy.

@cherokeepatti i remember right after the terror attacks ours stopped selling guns, like right when they may be needed.
I lost all faith in Wal-Mart after that.
I just now came out of one, self checks closed in this one too.
First time i been shopping there there this year😂
And i made it quick as possible
