Should I ask my brother why his marriage failed after less than 2 years?

My brother has only been with one girl who he got married to after 10 years of dating.

I have just found out that they have split up.
I don't know the reason as everything seemed to be going well for them.

It just feels a bit like that I have lost a friend as she was nice to me.

You can maintain a relationship with your former sister-in-law. Your brother might not like it, but it's between you and her.

Do you have the sort of relationship with your brother that would allow you to ask him about his marriage? Even if not, you can still ask him.
