My poor uncle

My mom called me this morning to tell me my grandfather is driving my uncle crazy. I guess my grandfather woke up last night at like 1am and he thought it was breakfast time. I guess he been doing this lately. The other night at about 1am he thought it was lunch time. Then at 6am he thought it was breakfast. My poor grandfather has dementia really bad.

@TheEmperor not really that easy at all. U don't know time at all. U may think it is 6am but really it is 1am. Even with a clock in your room u won't understand it anymore

Is your grandfather able to handle a toaster and make himself something small when he wakes up? Maybe have some snacks on hand in the fridge like fruit and cheese and cold cuts for him to snack on whenever?

@Muthafukajones gee I can't tell u how many times I went into the kitchen and he left the burners on the stove on. He has got to the point he has to use a walker. But with the dementia he doesn't remember to use it.
