Ladies, how much are you like your mother. Men how much are you like your father ?

Nothing much in common other than a sense of humour but I think this could be down to him being a 'boomer' and I being 'Gen X'. Brought up in different times and different ways and I did not bring up my children they way he brought me up. This is a cycle that is likely to continue as long as humans exist.

I remember a saying, 'I did not realise that my Dad was right until I had a Son that knew I was wrong'. Somewhat true for some things.
