I bought her a Samsung tab but doesn't seem satisfied. Now I wanted to buy her and dad a new bed, but she told me to check the quality becaise it's quite cheap. I can't afford too expensive stuff, I don't have a lot of money

Wow! You need to do investment rather then buying all the stuff. I understand we want to do stuff for our parents. So I don't buy them anything. My sister bought enough so they don't complain. But when I buy things they don't use it. 😂

Could be they feel a little embarrassed that you're prepared to spend big sums on things they don't necessarily need
