Expanding my family

I’m considering either being an adoptive parent, or mentor parent (where I’d bring a child in a residential setting home for the weekend until they find their forever family). What are your ideas on both? I’ve been a mentor to children in foster care for a few years and I know I want to continue to support them in the future while giving them a safe loving stable environment.

@Jonjdw that’s true that’s why I’m here haha Do you think I should start as an adoptive parent or start as a mentor parent where I’d have a child with challenging needs for just the weekend?
