I found out my family was in the underworld

My whole family and extended family. I guess because I was always sweet, kind and gentle they lied to me my whole life and never let me know till I think last year, I found out. I hate being around people connected to the occult underworld and don’t know what to do.I guess it’s like being Italian and finding out your family is in the mafia.

Or it refers to Hades in Greek mythology.
