I Wear A Kilt

I have scottish heritage on my mothers side of the family which I am quite proud of . I find the scots far friendlier and welcoming and homely than the english . My father is english and the less said about that the better . His family are all wealthy and have nothing to do with me as I am not rich enough for them . I often wear my heritage tartan proudly but been unable to find sock flashes as it is an ancient tartan so will probably have to have them specially made .

@akindheart The cold weather is really not as big a thing as one might think. I don't always wear anything under my warm skirts in the winter and it's quite a bit colder in Norway. And my skirts don't have anything like as much material in them as a Scottish kilt.

@akindheart No you wouldn't. You just have to dress for the weather. Here are a couple of pictures from Norway, taken sometime between December and February, somewhere between -10°C and -5°C:

Long Jaeger coat, short skirt, thick tights, boots almost to the knee.

There was no wind when the second shot was taken so I didn't even need gloves for a short walk from my car. You can't see but I was wearing fake fur mittens in the first one.
