Something along the lines of cell regeneration and the baby leaving its imprint on the mother even after it is born. In the same way the mother gives life to the baby, the baby in turn gives life back

Incredible stuff. The body of a natural woman is remarkable. Sadly men dont have this ability of regeneration

@Longpatrol it definitely is. It literally takes energy directly from the mother to make a baby, it'd be strange if the baby could produce excess energy and put it back into the system. Possibly the body starts overclocking when baby-making is happening to make sure that the baby survives tho, and that's what people notice.
