Parents do you read your kids social media messages and do they know that they do? If so to what age?

My bf has a 10 year old daughter. He doesn't invade her privacy by looking at her phone or laptop. He just instilled it in her since she was very small how important it is to not talk to strangers online, and not share photos of yourself with anyone you don't know. He also doesn't allow her to have a Twitter or TikTok or Instagram account (although when she's a teen he won't be able to stop her).

You can't shelter your kids forever, your only hope is to teach them the dangers and hope they make good choices.
