A neighbor threw away all her family photos

@revenant People here will collect photos they find after a tornado has gone through the area and try to find the owners of the photos. They’ll set up a site to show them so they can be collected.

@cherokeepatti This is a really nice thing to do ! Very thoughtful of those people. When you throw away pics or lose them it is a bit like losing their souls.

@revenant we had a tornado here a few weeks ago and it stayed on the ground for 26 miles…starting in the south part of the city and moved to the east. The people who are running the Rodeo grounds have set up a collection room for things people are finding for people to come look & see what they have there that might belong to them.

Interesting you put it like that. At one point some people though cameras were devices to capture someone's soul.

Come to think of it, maybe there IS some truth to that after all.
