My sister thinks it's okay to go topless on the beach and at family barbecues. I hope hot fat from the barbecue lands on her to teach her a lesson. 🙄

Is your family okay with it ? In my family it’s relatively simple, we’ve all been raised with an amount of personal modesty. Someone turning up topless would be asked to cover up, or leave. No controversy because the majority agrees.

I mean... I don't exactly see an issue, especially at the family barbeque. It's just a body after all, everyone has one, nothing wrong with it. Plus it's a FAMILY barbeque so it's not like she's in any danger in that setting unless you have a pervy uncle or something. I don't think it's fair to ask her to cover up and sacrifice comfort just because some people are too immature to handle the sight of someone's exposed flesh. It's similar to the dumb rule my school had in their dress code that banned girls from wearing tops that exposed their shoulders. You shouldn't impose penalties on the ones comfortable enough to dress like that, impose penalties on the ones who cause problems cause of it. If people can keep their hormones in check and not do anything inappropriate I don't think it matters what someone wears or doesn't wear.

Plus technically speaking... boobs aren't genitalia or anything so I don't exactly understand why people feel the need to cover them and censor them on tv in the first place. I always assumed the issue with nudity was that the reproductive organs were exposed (Which I don't quite get how that's an issue unless you're using them sexually in front of people who don't want to see it) but that isn't the case if you're topless.

Just my opinion though, you're allowed to have a different one.

Oh and don't wish harm on people even if you don't mean it, it's not a nice mindset to have.
