Do you have a good relationship with your parents?

I haven't spoke to my Dad in almost a year and my mother and I have a strained relationship always have. Not close with my sister or brother he's quite a bit younger than me 18 years to be exact. I feel so much like a loser because I have no close family but my son. I am just tired of being the one who always has to bend over backwards to have any sort of a relationship with them. I just want to be myself and I am too old to keep trying to please those who are never satisfied
