Polishing silver. Our hands are smaller and, as women, we often care more about fine details.

Lemon oiling the decorative wood underneath the dining table and chairs...same reason...plus, in general we are somewhat smaller and more supple to crawl under things.

@4meAndyou yeah I agree with the lemon oiling furniture. I did some work for my lawyer and that’s one thing she wanted done about once a month. I loved doing it. 🍋I wouldn’t complain if I had a job doing things like that. She said others that she had working for her hated doing it

@cherokeepatti My mother had me crawling under furniture from an early age, training me to do it, I guess. She loved lemon oil.

@4meAndyou Lemon oil helps keep the spiders from nesting under the furniture, they hate the smell and other bugs too

@cherokeepatti That's awesome! Did not know that! Makes sense, though...you go to sit down for Thanksgiving after not using the formal dining table for a year or so, you don't want your guests to be bitten!

@4meAndyou I have a smaller round pedestal table and turned it over to roll it out to the sun room when I was cleaning g the carpet. Saw spiderwebs in the hollowed out pedestal. Yikes, had some natural spray and sprayed inside of it
