Can you really love 2 people at the same time?

Can you love your wife & mistress / girlfriend
Will this work long term, or do you Have to eventually choose one to be with?
Will it cause heartbreak

Doubtful. I would think the feelings for the mistress are more lust and infatuation, I doubt it's about love at all.
