Do you think that the art of conversation is dead?

What's your personal opinion? I was talking with a neighbor today and he more or less said the same thing. It could be face to face or on the telephone.

I think things are certainly minimized to a text or email and people aren’t interested in face to face conversation.

So I would say it’s changed.

@Stereoguy I like people but this pandemic has changed things for me because I am immunocompromised. I have to be so careful. People should be grateful they have the opportunity to be with their friends and family.

@Stereoguy I am sorry she’s high risk. That’s pretty much the only time I leave too. Still managed to pick up an amoeba in my sinuses that I have been struggling to get rid of for 5 months. The infection keeps moving further up in my face and my ENT is worried it’s going to get to my brain.

People need to cherish everyday they have. I hope your wife is okay 💖.

@Stereoguy I just finished a 28 day course of antibiotics, my third course and it’s resistant to that antibiotic now. The ENT did swabs last Friday to culture and figure out which antibiotic to try next. They take 7-10 days though.

He’s given me steroids to clear out some inflammation and I did have sinus surgery in June to open them up. Hopefully I can get on the right antibiotic to get rid of it but my body isn’t great at fighting things off.

Thank you for asking and your well wishes 💞.
