In the 80s there was at least HBO. They would’ve really hated the 60s, when color tv and UHF were new.

@bijouxbroussard Americans had so many more cable channels than we did. I saw advertisements for hbo and may other channels but we never had them and then when they did come out (I think after the 1990’s if I’m not mistaken), you had to pay for the
