Is there anything that can be done if a grave keeps flooding?

My parents grave keeps flooding whenever it rains making it impossible to get near their grave. It’s prob less than 10 square metres that keeps flooding but now the grass is dead on their grave bc of the water. I’ve complained before and the yard hasn’t done anything. Are we shit out of luck?

The best and likely least expensive change would be to move the graves to somewhere that doesn't flood. Above ground burial is possible.

The only other option is to redo the cemetery's drainage system, which would likely be very expensive and problematic, as it would impact other nearby graves.

above ground burial, such as mausoleums.

Better drainage.

They/you can remove caskets, put sand and then gravel under them that should help drain. Or if water is polling in places you can take a shovel or pickaxe and cut small (1 inch deep) grooves in the soil to avert the water off of the graves into the road (assuming there's a gravel road in the cemetery). I hope this helps somehow..
