I tend to babble about mine often.
They're just so cool.
Perfect.
I give the experience two enthusiastic thumbs up.
They are the brass ring.
The ultimate achievable goal for most.
Absolutely not! Knowing that people love their children and are proud to be parents is wonderful. It’s a refreshing positivity to read.

@Pinkstarburst thank you so much for this
I find I can't stop talking about them.
I was spouting off about how cool kids were one time at a party.
One lady was playing with my daughter and seemed like she was having a great time doing it
I asked if she had kids
She said no I can't have them
Holy crap that I feel like an evil person.
@Dainbramadge Never feel that way. Shout your joy for them. We love to see the exuberance of a parent and live vicariously through and love that you share you precious ones with us.

I'm a Mom, so I can't speak for those without kids, but the purpose of this site is for people to share what matters to them. And there's nothing better to share than love. I find it beautiful and uplifting to see your posts about how much you love your kids. I can't imagine anyone objecting, but if they do, no one is forcing them to click on. I vote to keep sharing that love.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@AbbeyRhode thank you for your kind words.
Funny thing is I asked this question but I don't think I have the ability to alter me sharing how cool I think it is
:-)

I don't mind as long as they don't go overboard talking about it all the time
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@SW-User oh no. I tend to do that.
Or at least I'm pretty sure I do.

If someone would be unappreciative then maybe but no I like when people are actually nice about and to their own as it restores my faith in people a bit. There are quite a few people here who were damaged by the way they were spoken to or treated that I think for many of us it is something of a common, uniting factor. A fact sometimes forgotten amid other BS here.

Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@SW-User thank you me. LOL
I got the thinking after my 3rd or 4th response to a post that I answered in no short form about how cool my kids are that may be not everyone feels the same way about kids as I do
And the stories I could tell of why I feel like that.
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
It's good you are proud of them
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@Justmeraeagain yeah I just can't help myself most of the time but to scream my pride and joy of them. :-)
WaryWitchWandering · 36-40, F
I love my kids and I’ll never be quiet about it
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@WaryWitchWandering I can so relate.
:-)
bookerdana · M
People post about their lives and experiences and what is important in their lives...I kinda like that there are parents who do their job with love and diligence..gives me hope for the future..except if they have a bumper sticker that reads,My child is an honor student at ridgemont high..UGH!
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@bookerdana Mine will say " My child was inmate of the month". LOL
bookerdana · M
@Dainbramadge I like that BETTER!😂
Dewkissedrose · 46-50, F
It bothers me more when people make comments referencing not have kids.

For instance: I’m glad I have children. I couldn’t imagine life without them and why people wouldn’t have them.

Or some insinuation that it’s a choice.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@Dewkissedrose well I personally give my experience with kids to enthusiastic thumbs up. :-)
I only enjoy the funny stories. A have a coworker who tells me stories about all the outrageous things his son says and does. They amuse me.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@MorbidCynic oh Lord there are so many funny stories.
Some of them are just musings of how little minds can think and what they focus on
Others are from there developing a sense of humor and what they think is funny. :-)
4meAndyou · F
Celebrate your children every day, as you do, and they will love you till the end of time. 🤗
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@4meAndyou I can't help but feel so much love from them.
They don't even have to do anything for me to feel that except exist within my life.
:-)
4meAndyou · F
@Dainbramadge That is a more wonderful thing than you will ever know.
SW-User
Doesn't bother me unless it's some self serving ego trip they carry on about.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@SW-User oh no. Now you got me wondering if that's what I do.
In my case, I think it is a bit of an ego trip to be allowed to feel so much love. Given and received.
No.
You may carry on till you feel exhausted. That will happen.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@sspec I wonder what that would feel like. LOL
Chickie · F
It doesn't bother me as long as they don't have or push fucked up ideologies like women are birthing machines
Chickie · F
@Dainbramadge it's a pattern I noticed here when kids are a topic of a post and it's fucked up.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@Chickie I guess one reason I am feeling so pro kid right now is the jury duty I almost had to do about a pedophile.
Can you imagine the damage that that man has done or will do to those kids?
In a situation like that a mercy killing is about the only thing that could prevent something like that.
Oh my God that man's thinking was so distorted and screwed up.
Chickie · F
@Dainbramadge people should have the same energy for parents who hit or mentally abuse their kids.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
Doesn't bother me if they talk about kids OR pets.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@ChipmunkErnie there are a lot of similarities.
They both are a source of so much joy.
:-)
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
@Dainbramadge I prefer the pets. :D
Machete · 56-60, M
See. The pole says shut up.
Not just about your kids but everything.
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
It can be a little much. I haven't seen it from you particularly.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
@uncalled4 it seems like I find a lot of questions and here that I answer with "my kids".
Enough so that I got to wondering if people actually were paying attention. LOL

@SW-User yeah they were the definition of validation for me.
The best part is they do not disappoint. Even when they screw up I still want to be there for them even if it entails some form of outside penalty.
