Parent's aren't the only type of family. I'm not talking about aunts, uncles, or siblings. You can have family and loved ones that aren't related by blood at all. We certainly, as humans, have an urge to be close to our blood relatives, so it's difficult when we can't. However, it's better than a toxic relationship with them. I think you have to get by with the fact that there are people who care about you. Bring those friends closer and find your own kind of family where you feel the love and warmth.
