I'm sorry to read that you're struggling. With that kind of response from your mother, it sounds as if your parents are selfish toxic people. Sometimes, it's better for our mental health to accept a door that's been closed on us. Don't think about the past and the people who have chosen not to be there to support you. If you want to move forward, focus on yourself, your own needs, and the people in your life that do support you. Focus on the positives, ignore the negatives.
