My family originated in Southern Bohemia

Český Krumlov District (Czech: okres Český Krumlov) is a district (okres) within South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. Its capital is Český Krumlov.

The area was the hereditary home of the Rosenberg (Rožmberk) family, Lords of Krumlov and Rozmberk.
