Having lost our parents in 2017

I became the legal guardian of my little brother.

His Autistic challenges in life teach me each day the value of patients and tolerance. Yesterday was his birthday. Told me his wish was to eat only pickles in celebration. Uncertain how he ate so many..but his wish came true. 🙂

This happens more often than we realize. Parents die, and their children must raise their younger siblings. I am glad you are such a wonderful big brother.

@4meAndyou We've an age gap as my folks had him latter in they're years but from day one we've been as thick as thieves. 🙂

@CodyCode You are so fortunate to be able to raise your brother in an enlightened age when we know SO much more about autistic children. Do NOT watch The Accountant with Ben Afleck...😉

@4meAndyou Enjoying his life with him has been a gift. The Accountant for me was an adaptation of the power of the human mind.

@CodyCode True...but a form of child abuse, also. The one thing I found realistic was the focus.

@4meAndyou I see your point. 🙂
