He was completely charming; the life of every party.

He was an Eagle Scout, a veteran of two wars, a hero in WWII, and completely ruthless when crossed. He was naive, had a very old fashioned moral code, which he passed along to me, and tried his very best to overcome his prejudices and become a modern liberal.

@SW-User He shared a little bit. He was shot down over Bastogne, Belgium, and he did tell us that story. I am finding out more now, from reading the reports.
