How close are you with your family? Would you say you can count on them?

I come from an almost non existent family, the only person close to me is my sister and any other family member I don't really know them or trust them, I wonder how it is for other people being more family oriented

I don't have my parents anymore. I have a sister who lives an hour or so away. We are not close at my choosing but I think I can count on her for alot of things. I am close with my cousin in New Brunswick and I can count on her for almost anything as well as my uncle who lives there. The rest of my family are in Bermuda but sadly I have found over the years that I cannot rely on them very much

Our family of 6 siblings were a mess until we grew out of it. Dividing chores was given to the youngest 3 which sort of separated us into 2 groups of 3. This continued onto adulthood. The youngest 3 still don't trust the oldest 3. With only 3 kids left the youngest 2 are still very close to this day. The oldest has always been viewed as the black sheep of the family.

My good friend,Claudia’s mom passed away when she was only 12 years old and she has two younger brothers and a sister..she has to cook,wash and take care of them I forgot what she said about her father though ..they are very close till now often going for holiday together.

Wow we have almost an identical family then ...I can only talk with my sister. There's no other family member I can go to for anything really. They are condescending or narcissist s. 🙁

Extremely close. Sister is my best friends. Her daughters are like my kids and very close to my mom.

No I couldnt count on them.I wish they would help me with my parents.They dont help.

I can count on one sibling to be there when I need her, my sister. My oldest brother would not be interested in helping my self or my sister.

Just take a time off away from them for a few years. Then come back and don't expect much, just enjoy seeing them again.
