I have often thought about this and wondered what goes through the mind of the person saying this.
But I've kind of come to the conclusion that it's an act of denial and inability to take accountability for their wrong doings.
It's coming from a really poor place, I'm guessing a lack of emotional intelligence.
I'm not qualified to diagnose someone as this or that. But I do think sometimes people aren't equipped with the tools to think beyond themselves and their needs. So this is a really alien concept to them.
I always find it's a lot easier to find peace when you just accept and walk away preventing them from doing this type of thing again.

@Mellowgirl That is true, they only think about themselves.
Very true. Unfortunately for some people, sorry really does seem to be the hardest word.
@OlderSometimesWiser they don't apologize because for them what they did wasn't wrong and one is the getting upset for nothing. 🙄

Exactly. They know "all you did was…" but it was the wrong thing !

@bijouxbroussard Exactly.
Why don't they feel bad? I would feel badly, even if it wasn't my intent to hurt them. The point is they hurt someone with their actions.

People with little empathy everywhere
