Have you ever had someone say something that was so painful that it will never leave your mind?

馃 this is an interesting question.. my first thought was no .. I've obviously heard words which but never anything that I couldn't take in my stride .
But then immediately I am reminded that even though it was many, many years .
There were words said that impacted my 'consciousness' in such a way that I've revisited that moment.. on and off at times and still nowhere near getting over it.
& I don't revisit on purpose..its just a memory that has never disappeared .
