Strange how things from your very distant past, show up in dreams. It's probably just an old memory...
HoeBag · 46-50, F
I had quit for 18 months at one point and relapsed. I felt quite a bit of shame when I started up again.
I do remember the dreams, like being in a cigarette factory or whatever.
The addiction never truly vanishes.
As you already know, never say "just one".

I tell you better one . I was off the cigarettes years and went back on them over watching The Sopranos when they used to smoking cigars . I bought a cigar and one led to another and after the next few weeks I was smoking again .
I'm off them again 3 years thank god .
Don't ever have one cause it took me years to go back off them again

Oh yeah! Ive had those dreams. Its been a while since ive had one though. I quit smoking about 20 years ago though, so maybe they get less frequent the further you get from your quit date?
MrNightSky · 46-50, M
@Ambersky nice! Good for you. I dont even really crave them anymore at all. How about you?
Ambersky · 51-55, F
@MrNightSky I do still from time to time. But, I also smell them and it just smells awful.
MrNightSky · 46-50, M
@Ambersky that sucks. i think my last craving was about 5 years after i quit? After that i kind of didnt even find them appealing anymore.
Sroonaka616 · 31-35, M
Well done on quitting. However the mind is a strange place that can bring up old memories and past cravings.
Just4fun · 51-55, M
I’ve heard of people having strong associations with particular foods for decades
