Have you ever experienced

Vivid dreams. Where you dream something that is so real that when you wake up your emotions come with you. I have experienced this countless times. I even got to the point I could make myself dream that way.. Usually I'd take a nap in the afternoon and continually think about what I'd like to see. You lay very still while thinking. You get to the point where you are in that state where you aren't awake but not quite asleep either. It's a wonderful thing. I get to see my sister usually, but also my mom and dad and my animals. Unfortunately I wake up crying because I miss them. But I feel like I was there with them.

I frequently have those same lucid dreams about being with my folks and sister who have all passed.

@JohnnyNoir it's pretty cool.

@melissa001 with my folks it's usually that I know they've died but somehow they had managed to return as if they hadn't. It's difficult to describe but it feels normal

@JohnnyNoir mine are the same. I usually end up asking whoever I'm dreaming about if they know they are dead. That think I'm strange, but continue on with whatever we were doing. I'm so happy they are alive, but when I wake up I come back to reality and realize it was a dream.

@melissa001 I have a similar one about a good friend who died too. Hr shows up after having been away for several years. No details and no idea where he's staying now. He's just here and I'm happy to see him again

@JohnnyNoir @JohnnyNoir they're just the remnants of what remains of them in the depths of your mind. Dreams are other wise a mystery

@melissa001 and of course my dad showed up in one of my dreams last night. A night of recurring theme dreams
