I'm having a lot of really long dreams lately

Last night I had one where my brother and I, plus a dog of ours would swim across a lake together every evening without telling my dad. We would go over there to explore old ships, but some were sunken and it was scary swimming over top of them. Like giant beasts.

Sometimes there were other people in the boats and we'd have to jump off the side and swim underwater for a while so they couldn't find us.

One time I went during the day, by myself, and found a beautiful plant nursery inside one of the ships (? not sure), where they had rare begonias for $4.99. (yeah a lot of my dreams have some plant shopping in them haha). I decided to buy a rowboat that folded into a backpack so that I could go and get some of the plants the next day.

My dad was driving me into town, and we stopped at a gate. There was a great horned owl on top

I was about to do a post on last night's anxiety dreams, but I'll make it a response to yours instead, LOL.

1. I dreamed I was about to perform some kind of classical sonata on the piano, with two professional musicians. Only problem was I'm a total amateur who hasn't played in 6 months, and I didn't know I was going to do it until they handed me the music right before the performance. Plus I couldn't understand the music when I saw it.

2. I was going out to dinner with my college roommate, who morphed into my wife at some point during the dream. We were driving around and couldn't seem to find a parking spot. Every time we saw one, there was suddenly a sign that said we couldn't park there. Then someone else pulled in right in front of us at the last second and my wife got really upset.

Sometimes the alarm clock comes as a blessing in the morning.

@Harmonium1923 I'm sorry you're having such stressful dreams! They really do seem to affect your level of restedness... Don't they?

@caccoon Absolutely. My brain is trying to solve insolvable problems all night.

Was the swimming fun? I usually like the infinite stamina for running in dreams. Maybe that goes for swimming too. 😃

@Classified hmm, it felt I guess not tiring, but scary and difficult!
