When even the best you have as a mother and a role model is twisted and inhumane,

You can't turn out okay.
My actual mother was a monster. And they all sat like a committee to destroy and rip apart a child that never asked to be born.
It wasn't my fault I was intelligent and full of love and had integrity. I just wasn't like them at all.
And I was forced to grow up in what would be a horror movie to most people. I guess .

I made a similar post earlier. Not to the same degree of trauma but it still goes.

No, most people won't understand what you've been through or seen or felt or had happen to you. It's something you have to put in your pocket gracefully, as painful as it is.

That doesn't mean sitting down and shutting up forever though. Occasionally, you will come across someone who understands. You're not totally alone. 🫂
