I salute you for taking the former path

Abuse has so many faces. The physical scars fades and heals but the emotional scars no one can see and those never heal. We can choose to be a victim or a survivor who choose victory over our abuse. And we choose to help others so that they don't become victims and abusers because off their experience.

it made me protective of others and a defender of the weak .
if kids are who they target ,they are mine ,and I am patient ,99.9 % of the time ,I finish what I start.
God help them if people I love are their obsession ,I am the cure for their sickness .One more thing we have in common dear Friend ,we are stronger for what has not killed us .Have a blessed day dear one ,Love you

So true. My mother was abused, but it saved me from the same kind of abuse. She never wanted me or my siblings to go through what she did. I'm grateful for a mother that was stronger than her own.

My heart does go out to you, or any victim of abuse. Especially (and I don't know why especially, so don't ask) when the victims are children.

And I feel so privileged to have you as a friend! :)
