well not today, but an unusual learning thing.

saponification is the chemical process of making soap. a fat substance is exposed to a highly alkali solution and that results in soap.

so when you get bleach on your fingers and they end up feeling very slippy, you've put a very alkali solution [bleach] onto a fat substance and turned a little bit of yourself into soap. tada.

i wonder if i can localize my fatloss a bit more specifically.

Report back with your findings, turning into soap seems less scary than GLP1s.

Also, helloooo old frien

@Starcrossed I suspect it'll go the same way most of my schemes have in the past. and howdy. I'd begun to think you'd tapped out of sw. it seems to be the normal reaction these days.

Yup... Dishwashers do it all the time ;)

@Convivial dishwashers as in people? cuz I wouldn't think they'd normally use much as far as bleach. I suppose the automated ones, it kinda makes sense. a little wild to think they're implementing chemistry at that level. turn (at least some of) the stuff you're trying to wash away into stuff that washes stuff away.

@dirge electric dishwashers... It's not soap is a caustic solutions that converts to soap with the food fats on the plates

A science lesson and humor all rolled into one - bravo!
