Learned something new about carpenter bees
The males don't have a stinger, and are the cute ones that hover and buzz to attract mates. Woodpeckers are their natural enemy. Also floral perfume/ smells attract wasps and bees btw.

Got them around my deck. I ......not kidding...........killed over a 100 of them this year using a badminton racket.
