Today I learned that

Canola oil is from the Rapeseed plant that is mass grown in Canada. The plant grows pretty yellow flowers and there are fields and fields of plants though out most of Canada. The plant is a member of the Mustard/cabbage family. CANOLA is acronym for CANadian Oil Low Acid

Yes, but there seems to be a strong movement to rename the plant because "rapeseed" is offensive. Meanwhile, in one of the WALLANDER mystery books/TV series, a killing takes place in a burning rapeseed field in Sweden and the yellow of the filed in the TV version is stunning.
