The truth always sets us free and if we ask God to forgive us, he is faithful to do so. He's the only one that can really give us a brand new life.
It's a good idea to give the money back. I believe you know that's the right thing to do. And God doesn't beat us over the head, every time we make a mistake. It's important to ask him for forgiveness and he's more than willing to do that and to give you a brand new life in him, if you ask him to and if that's what you would like to have. He loves you more than words could ever say and he's wanting to give you that brand new life you need. Just like he did for me 52 years ago. I've known many people who turned to Jesus for a brand new life and he was right there waiting for them, loving them. He never turns anyone away. He will give you the strength and guidance you need. He knows we make mistakes but we can do better and we can do it in Christ who loves and forgives. I've seen hundreds of lives changed, who turned to Jesus. He never abandons us.

Jesus is the only one that can take guilt away. He doesn't keep track of our sins. He loves us no matter how many times we may mess up. He's the only one I know that can help with that. He's eager to forgive.
