Black Rainbow
I have come to realize the best way to describe myself would be “Black Rainbow”.
You look at a rainbow and say “How beautiful, it has all the colors” but no one realize “Black” is missing… which ironic enough it is also not missing(?). If you were to mix all those colors, you would get black, so I am there, just not seen, or heard, or cared for..
I am gay(hence the rainbow reference) but also black. Which funny enough, sometimes those don’t mix. Too gay to be accepted as black, and too black to be loved.
I have always been treated as an outcast in my family, not attractive enough, not strong enough, not good enough, not light enough.. the black sheep in a black family. Physically I fit just right in, black, like the rest of them, so you can’t really tell, at first sight, I don’t belong..
