I want to go topless at the public beach, as long as there are no families nearby. Is it OK to do that?

It's rather a sad commentary on society that breasts are considered something to be hidden from general audiences, but I guess it 'does' lend them a certain extra appeal. It's just so weird to hear people talking about death and destruction like it was a foot ball match, and then gasp in shock and disgust that a breast was exposed somewhere!
