Do you think it's weird for a ten year old to want a hotel birthday party?

Not at all. When I was younger I did my parties at a hotel, so did my brother. Now for my 2 I do the same. It really is a ton easier and cheaper than doing an only 2 hour party at most places. Bring the cake, some snacks, have some pizza delivered, a free breakfast the next morning, (depending on where you go) and the kids can open presents, swim, and you don't have to deal with ceaning up a huge mess. Gives you more time to play and spend with the kids.
