I wonder how the sex ed classes in school are taught now

I wonder how the sex ed classes are taught now. I bought a sex ed book published in 2020. I was just very curious because i never had any books like that my parents never gave me the sex talk they are not the kind of people to bring that stuff up and i switched elementery schools too much to learn it in elementary school but we did learn about it in middle and high school health class. The book was much more in deapth then when i learned aboutvit in school. I hope the schools are getting better at teaching it. My school was only good at teaching about birth control they even handed out free samples of the non prescription items for women. They gave out spermicides female condoms and sponges. I always wondered who used the sponge it seems so inn-effective. I think what started this whole interest is my friend has a kid whos coming up on older elementery school leval and she gas to give her the sex talk. That made me wonder whats it like to do that and how would I have loved being raised regardingvthis topic. I had a high drive as a kid i also started my period early like when i was ten in fifth grade.

@Ynotisay was simply just stating that when I was at school the sexual education class was a little redundant being taught so late on

When I was in high school in the 80's, our health teacher said the best constraceptive, ever, was an aspirin held between the knees.
