I think probably to insult me without actually verbalizing it, my YouTube feed just presented me with two bizarre animal videos.
The first was an elephant with the base of its tail grotesquely swollen and red, barely able to walk. A villager alerted the local game wardens/vets. They sedated the elephant and one well-gloved vet removed the stool blockage and discovered a huge abscess, which they thoroughly medicated, along with another bad cut on its front leg.
The second was, get this, a blood python with what looked like sandstone rocks the size of golf balls stuck in the digestive tract. The owner gently massaged the snake to work out those rocks, which dropped with a THUMP to the table.
The large bulge on the snake disappeared and she acted grateful.
Who knew all this stuff was going on?
