what should you do when you try to get close to someone but they won't let you
i've had a few times like this with people in my life throughout the years, just a social encounter, where there's someone you like and you just show an interest in them, being genuinely friendly, showing your interested in what they're about with the hope of trying to get closer to them and be a good friend with them, without being OTT ( over the top) or too forward, desperate etc, respecting their personal boundaries....but in spite of your friendly affectionate efforts, that person won't let you? they don't return the friendly efforts....don't acknowledge your comments or messages and even ignore your attempts to get closer to them?
those situations i've experienced left me feeling quite hurt and not knowing what else to do? or just trying to think of some other way of approaching them? but knowing in your heart it wouldn't work and would be a fruitless attempt really.
but also in that situation, feeling ' deep anger' as well, because you can't understand the way they're being? and because you genuinely tried with them and they don't even recognize that?
