1. A quick call to my lawyer with a short list of people I care about whose lives need to be made easier, financially, preferably anonymously.
2. Another quick call to a close friend of mine who does a lot of work with good charitable organizations to tell her that she needs to make some plans.
3. Tell my financial guy he's going to be busy for a day or two -- and give him the numbers of #1 and #2.
4. Go to work, 'cause I have a client counting on me.
5. After work, hang out at the Costco Gas Bar filling the tanks of people who look like they could use a break. I've always thought that would be fun. Then grab a hot dog and poutine.
6. Fall asleep, feeling extremely grateful and blessed.
