Do you help in crisis

Example you watch a accident on your way home do u stop to help or move on ..no don't judge people if they move on as bad, cause lots of country's have stupid legal hassles n hence people want to avoid it..so what do you do.?

It depends what you mean by a crisis of course, but two days ago a young man collapsed in our local open market very close by me and there were cries of, 'someone called an ambulance etc'. Someone did. Immediate help was there and a small crowd began to gather. I judged my presence would only add to the crowd and be nothing of any use so moved away.

In the past, I have becoming involved when a bus smashed into a building. That was in the days before mobile phones, so first pushing the emergency door opening button and checking no obvious casualties were in danger, I ran to the nearest phone box to call the emergency services. By then, others were involved and after giving my details to a bus company official (they arrived before the ambulance) I left on the same principle as no longer being needed.
