I guess it is easy to say I would stop and help, but the truth is, as you said, it depends on the situation, the country, and the risks involved. In some places /countries, stepping in can mean legal trouble, false accusations, or getting stuck in bureaucracy. That doesn’t make someone a bad person, it means they are trying to protect themselves, too. I would assess the situation first. If someone needs urgent help and it's safe to do so, I will try and do what I can, at the very least call emergency services. But I understand why others might walk away. It’s not always about not caring, it’s about survival, fear, or past trauma. We shouldn't judge too quickly. 🤔
