what do you do when you have nothing to offer anybody

i've had a hard adult life of dealing with mental health problems - ive never been employed, never been to college, have no qualifications, dropped out of secondary school...i have nothing to offer a partner or woman except a good heart...now i live alone, still dealing with psychiatric problems, living on benefits..and i'm in my late 40s.

i have nothing to offer except that i'm a good person, that's it...what can you do if you're in my position?

My brother is in the same situation. I really worry for him. I actually have had a lot of people in my life with severe mental health problems. I know you have a lot going on mentally. The things that you have to deal with that a lot of people don’t understand, but the thing is. You have to put yourself out there. You have to do the thing that you are afraid to do. You can’t stay trapped in your own mind forever. You deserve to be happy. It’s one walk. That turns into a routine if you let it. I know sometimes you don’t want to do that walk or one thing… but you have to push yourself out of your comfort zone. To find yourself again and realize you have a lot to offer someone. And having a good heart in this world can be hard to find. So you already have most beat.

@durinsBane1983 you got this. The world and society tries to put people in these boxes and says this is who you are… no it isn’t who you are. It doesn’t define you. You can recreate yourself as many times as you want to. You just have to do the work.
